3 Things to Help Google Trust You
Google needs to be able to trust you. They may be afraid you are not trustworthy and therefor don't want oyou or your site. In order to rank well with Google, your site will have to prove you and or your site is trustworthy. Most new sites are not cinsidered trustworthy. So you want Google to trust you and you need some trustworthy references right? Well the way to do that is to get some incoming links from trustworthy sites with a good ranking.. The problem is sites that have a high page rank and trust from google do not just go out handing outgoing links to newer start up sites, these type of links are usually reserved for already established and trustworthy sites than can help them in return. There are a couple of things that will help you in your quest for a relationship with Google. Define your Privacy Policy This is a page on your website that tells your visitors or customers how you use any information that is gathered on your site. Telling your visitors or customers this shows a certain amount of trustworthiness. This is a small step that shows you are reliable and responsible . It also shows detail and a sense of obligation to your visitors privacy. Another important thing would be a contact page. At the very least you should offer your visitors and email address. A telephone number and address where people can contact you. however if your home number is the only number you have this may not be desirable. Show Consistency Over Time Google looks for sites taht are consistent in structure. They want to see good original content and popularity. This takes time but ourside of trustworthy links this is the best way to have Google know you are trustworthy.You must cultivate a relationship with Google just like you would anyone else. A good trusting relationship takes time and needs to be earned and cherished.If for whatever reason you lose that trust it will take time to reestablish that trust again. Make sure your site is user friendly and dedicate a little time every day to grow your site showing Google that you do care about it. One very important thing to always remember is do not try to cheat on Goggle or use any questionable short cuts-This will cost you in your relationship with Goggle and take months to mend the riff and there is no guarantee that you will mend it. Googles trust based system recieved prais and criticism, and well I don;t always agree with Google I agree with the praise and also the criticism. In Googles fight agains spam they have hurt the little guy. Google has made themselves the internet God and there is no way to fight them. You have heard the expression it is their way or the highway? In other words compaining will not help, you have to follow their rules and that is all one can do.
